What Causes Numbness And Tingling In Legs And Arms?
Do not worry for MS
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thank You for contacting HCM. My name is Dr Muhammad Ali Rauf & i will look into your problem.
I have gone through your query and would try to help you in the best possible way. Yes one of the side effect of celexa is numbness. Also it can be due to vitamin deficiency. I would suggest you to relax and do not think about MS. On the other hand, take a multivitamin syp like (vit B-complex syp) once a day for 10-14 days. If numbness is severe then you can discuss with your treating dr to give alternative of celexa.
Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help if not then don't forget to close the discussion and rate it.
Wishing you good health !!
You are welcome

Hello
There are a number of signs which can be in multiple diseases. You can not specify a particular symptom to particular disease intil or unless it is charectaristic for that particular disease. In order to make a diagnosis of MS, following must fulfil:
- Evidence of damage in at least two separate areas of the central nervous system (CNS), which includes the brain, spinal cord and optic nerves AND
- evidence that the damage occurred at two different points in time AND
- Rule out all other possible diagnoses.
Now in your case MRI & neurological exam came out to be normal so chances of MS also decrease. There is quite possibility that your stress/anxiety for MS is making you conscious for symptoms that you normally ignore during daily routine.
Thank You

Detailed Answer:
Hello
In my opinion your symptoms are aggravating due to anxiety. If you are unable to control them then i would suggest you to get an appointment for a psychiatrist. He will prescribe you some anxiolytics that will help you reducing the anxiety regarding MS.
Thank You
