Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have studied your case and I think she might have weakness due to nerve compression in the spine. This can be due to fall or pressure on the cord during surgery. Before I advised any thing I would like to know little detail of her illness.
1.Was she able to walk before surgery?
2.Was she able to move her limb before surgery?
3.Please send me her MRI report.
4.What is her present status in terms of movement of the limb in the bed?
Please send me answers of these questions. I will try my best to help you.

Brief Answer:
You need to see your doctor for a checkup
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for replying.I think that she will be able to walk with in short period of time. She is having weakness and that is common after such surgeries. For precautions I would recommend you to visit your operating surgeon and get her clinical examination. For walking a person should have grade 3 or above power in both lower limbs. If your doctor says that she has above 3 power in lower limb then she is normal.
I would also suggest you to make sure that her vitamin B 12 and blood sugar levels are normal. As it can cause sensory loss or numbness.
I hope this answer will be useful for you. Let me know if there is any other followup questions. thanks
