Question: Hi doctor I had a circumcision surgery yesterday yesterday I was able to urinate properlyrics but from today afternoon as my bandages were getting loose I wrapped them tightly using tape after that the bleeding increased a bit and now i am urinating in multiple streams and there is still a lot of numbness in my penis is this normal

Thanks for query .

Numbness,slight bleeding and spraying of urinary stream is common after surgery of circumcision .

Following measures will help you to resolve the issue
1) Change the dressing at Hospital and place loose dressing keeping urethral meatus exposed and open so that dressing pad does get soiled with urine . .
2) Take antibiotic like Doxicycline and anti inflammatory drugs like Diclofenac twice daily
3) Empty your bladder before going to sleep this prevents getting erection during sleep which may sometime cause disruption of suture line.
4) Change the dressing every alternate day for 4-5 times this prevents wound from getting infected .
