What Causes Numbness In Toes?
You require evaluation.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for posting your query.
I have noted your symptoms. These are suggestive of peripheral neuropathy (a disease of nerves of feet).
I agree that you do not have diabetes, however, peripheral neuropathy can be the first manifestation of diabetes in a person not known to have diabetes. Therefore, you would require glucose tolerance test (GTT) to pick up pre-diabetes stage.
Also, you should undergo vitamin B 12 level estimation and thyroid profile testing to exclude their deficiency.
The severity of neuropathy can be assessed by doing nerve conduction studies.
I hope my answer helps. Please get back if you have any follow up queries or if you require any additional information.
Wishing you good health,
