Brief Answer:
see doctor

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Sciatica and other nerve impingement syndromes can cause permanent nerve damage. See your doctor for an exam and possibly medications, an injection or physical therapy can help relieve your pain and decrease the risk of any permanent damage.
Numbness and that pins and needles sensation are signs that the nerves are being compressed. This needs to be addressed with your doctor.
