They dont look like warts but would like to know what are they. I am uploading the picture in the reports section. Please let me know if there is something wrong both with the anus and the perineum. I am a 29 year old female and currently also have a problem of frequent abscesses before and during my menstrual cycle due to excessive body heat.

Brief Answer:
Anal fissure with piles.

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
To recapitulate: Female/29 - occasional itching around the anus - feels rash like bumps on perineum - frequent abscesses before and during menstrual cycle - seen the pictures...
They show the following things:
- Fissure in ano at posterior part 6 o'clock position
- Looks like a pile/hemorrhoid also
- There is mild peri-anal excoriation

I would advise you the following:
Get the stool and blood tests done.
Per-rectal examination and ano-proctoscopy to get a confirmed diagnosis preferably by a General Surgeon.
Sitz bath in a tub with warm water.
Mold laxatives if there is constipation.
Further medications as per the reports.

I hope this answer helps you, please feel free to ask for further relevant queries if you feel that there is a gap of communication.

Is this something serious ? Will I need a surgery for the piles or just diet change should help? What could be the possible cause for this? I was on antibiotics for my abscesses so could that be a reason?

Brief Answer:
not serious

Detailed Answer:
This does not look to be serious.
Yes, since they are protruding, they may need Surgery and can be confirmed only after an actual proctoscopy.
It is not about diet changes, important is to maintain soft stool.
The causes are:
Constipation, straining at stool.
In woman- child bearing.
Antibiotics can cause this only if it caused diarrhea.

Thanks for your prompt response. I understand that they can be of two types internal and external. So would you be able to help me understand which one do I have. Also just wanted an assurance that you dont see any warts.
I dont have constipation or hard stools except once that gave me a sharp pain and post that there has been no such episode.
Can I visit my dermatologist for this as I am already undergoing some treatment with her.
Can piles be an output of colon cancer or warts?

Brief Answer:
As explained.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your appreciation.
I was wondering why do you suspect warts.
The grade of the hemorrhoids can be assessed on only Proctoscopy, not by mere examination or by picture.
There are no warts at all as seen n the pictures you have provided.
The incidence where you got the hard stools that gave you sharp pain might have caused the fissure.
No, Dermatologist would not do the necessary examination, please consult a General Surgeon or a Proctologist to have proper clinical evaluation, examination and treatment plan.
Piles can not be due to warts.
Piles can be due to colon cancer, which is a rare combination. Hence colonoscopy is usually advised to rule this out.

I hope these answer your queries, please feel free to ask for further.

Thanks.
The reason I suspected warts was because I recently had a treatment for genital warts where I got them cauterized. So was wondering if they were warts.
Do I need to consult a surgeon immediately or can wait and see if it gets better because from what I understand they generally get better with time.

Also can anal douching be a reason for piles? Because I tend to douche to defacate completely and clean up.

Brief Answer:
Earlier the better.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your feedback.
Read and understood the history.
It is not immediate but earlier the better as you get a proper diagnosis which leads o proper treatment plan.
Anal douching may not cause piles, not known to occur.
