What Causes Oligohydramnios?
Question: Sir my wife is suffering from severe oligohydraminous. How I improve the water because no measurable pocket is seen.

1) Oligohydramnios with no measurable pocket is serious condition and needs to be evaluated.
2) Please let me know how many weeks pregnant she is ? Full term pregnancy?
3) Get detailed ultrasound scan done to check any congenital abnormalities in the baby.
4) Encourage her to drink more fluids like water, juice and buttermilk.
5) Let her eat protein rich diet.
6) Let her take amino acid supplements like argiprime XXXXXXX daily.

Madam thank u for reply. Madam she has 25 week pregnancy. Ultsound report-
1 less fetal movement
2. Liquor- severe oligohydramnious, no measurable pocket is seen.
3.fetal heart rate-129bpm
4. Cardiac activitiy present
5.fetal activitiy present
6.placenta - anterior,upper,grade-1
7.fetal biometry
BPD 63 mm 25 weeks 2 days
HC 247mm 26 weeks 1day
AC 187mm 23 weeks 1 day
FL 47.4 mm 25 weeks 3 days
8. Fetal weight - 733 +/- 73.3gm
9. Cephalic index = CI- 70%(70-86%)
10.cerebellum,post,fossa&ventricle appeared normal
11. Spine/ kidney/fetal stomach/ urinary bladder seen normal
12. Four chamber heart seen normal
13. All congenital anomalies not ruled in this scan
14. UMBILICAL FLOW- VS- 14cm/sec VD-21cm/sec S/D RATIO - 2.0. RI-0.5. PI-0.8
This one is the report of ultrasound.
Madam we take some medicine according to doctor....
1. Lazin forte
2.Richer- cr 100mg
3. Maczorb 560 mg
4. Duphaston 10 mg
5. Duvadilin 40 mg
6. Alivher 40 mg
7. Pan D
madam we continue these from last month but there were not changes seen into status of fluid. Plz suggest us madam. For this I really thankful to u.
