Brief Answer:
Passing urine upto age of 48 hours is normal

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thanks for choosing this platform

I won't get worried if the baby has passed urine first time within 48 hours of life as it is very common and is normal in newborns.
Initial stool's color, consistency and frequency may vary. During first 2-4 days of life baby passes greenish black color stool with tarry consistency.
As your baby has passed stool within 36 hours, this is also normal. Delayed passage of stool in newborn is defined as not passing stool within first 24-36 hours of life.
I would like to know whether the baby is still passing green colored stool or the color has changed now. Also the baby should pass urine at least 4 times a day after initial 2 days.

I hope this helps.
