Brief Answer:
Rule out Heart issue..

Detailed Answer:
Hello Sir

Thank you for asking to Healthcare Magic.

There could be many benign causes for your intermittent left arm ache like muscular atrophy ,dehydration, vitamin deficiency etc.

But it is safe and necessary to initially rule out underlying cardiac disease like coronary artery disease i.e angina,in which the pain may be referred to left upper and forearm without the presence of typical symptoms.Your doctor will do few tests like ECG,Treadmill test to find out if there's any such issue.

Seek emergency medical care especially if the intermittent left arm ache is getting worse or accompanies with symptoms like chest/abdominal discomfort, nausea, sweating, breathlessness etc in future.

Discuss this with your primary care physician and proceed further for the best of your health.

Until then, you can continue hot fomentation, aleve gel whenever required.

Apart from that

1)Maintain good hydration.
2)Consider Taking OTC vitamin supplement.
3)Give proper rest to the arm.

Hope i have answered your query. If any further doubts, don't hesitate.

Regards.
