Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Welcome on HCM!

Regarding your concern, I would explain that your symptoms could be related to different possible causes:

- uncontrolled high blood pressure
- low blood pressure values
- chronic anemia
- thyroid dysfunction
- a brain aneurysm.

For this reason it is first necessary to measure your blood pressure values during these episodes.

If your blood pressure values result within the normal ranges, I would recommend consulting with your attending physician for a careful physical exam and some tests:

- a resting ECG
- a chest X ray study
- complete blood count for anemia
- thyroid hormone levels for thyroid dysfunction
- blood electrolytes.

A brain CT scan or MRI may be necessary if all the other above tests result normal, and you have normal blood pressure values.

Hope to have been helpful!

Kind regards,

Dr. Iliri
