
What Causes Ongoing Excessive Fatigue, Difficulty In Waking Up And Diarrhea?

Question: I have been experiencing ongoing excessive fatigue: difficulty waking up during the work week and sleeping excessive amounts (12 hours or more) on the weekends and having to drag myself out of bed, almost daily "dumping" wherein regardless of what I eat and when I may experience immediate diarrhea after a meal, and overall periods of difficulty with attention. I also now am weighing 157lbs where I've never weighed more than 140lbs maximum am not eating but 2 meals a day and have gained all the weight in my midsection.

There may be possibility of anemia, vitamin deficiency or Thyroid disorder.
You should get complete hemogram, serum sodium, potassium, calcium, urea, creatinine, liver function test, Thyroid profile, vitamin D, vitamin B12 and ultrasound abdomen.

Thank you so much for your guidance! Any advice as far as how to approach the suggestions you have given? My PCP for the past 3 years has not responded to my concerns: no blood work/panel, no physical exam because my vitals are WNL. I also saw a separate PCP with the same results...no blood panel, no investigation at all. I slept 14 hours today and still feel exhausted just sitting up.
