What Causes Open Cut On Penis Post Intercourse?

Question: Noticed open cut on penis, immediately after sex with girlfriend. Now have 3 scabs. Not painful or blisters. What could this be?

Hello
Thanks for the query and photographs.
You have developed an allergic reaction to some chemical of cleanser used by your girl friend.
It cannot be any infection or STD as the symptoms developed immediately.
Infections need at least 5 days to develop.
Apply a combination of a mild steroid and antibacterial cream for 5 days.
This will protect you from any secondary bacterial infection and will give you faster relief.

Is it possible this could be herpes and i just didnt have any symptoms until after we had sex? She does have HSV-1 on her genital area. There were no bumps that turned into blisters just an immediate cut after sex, and its not painful at all and it never wa. s

Thanks for the follow up.

Herpes needs at least 5 days to develop. It cannot develop immediately after sex. And vesicle formation is always there in herpes.
So don't worry just relax.

Though I am convinced the present lesion are not related to herpes but since your girl friend is HSV positive, there are chances of infection getting transferred to you. It may present at a later stage. Hence I advice you yo get anti HSV test done.
