Hello
Thanks for posting
I have gone through your query and understand your concern. To help you better please tell me do you have fever with foot warm to touch,as this could be sign of infection. To confirm that I would recommend blood test like complete blood count,ESR with serum uric acid.
What is the duration of suffering?
You may get in touch with your GP for above blood test and examination.
Looking forward to your reply to help you further.

Brief Answer:
Blood test are must

Detailed Answer:
Hello
It's good to see you
I have gone through your reply carefully and would recommend getting blood test done as discussed earlier. As this will help us in diagnosing the medical problem. Your suffering could be because of deposition of uric acid crystal/infection at foot.
Meanwhile continue with the same treatment.
Please revert back with blood reports along with picture of foot,if possible.
Regard

Brief Answer:
short course of steroid will be helpful

Detailed Answer:
Hello
I regret for the delay.I have gone through the whole discussion till now. You need urgent visit to GP/ER as it could be infection or exacerbation of fibromyalgia. This usually requires short course of cortisone (steroid) beside the pain killer medicine which you are already having.
Do revert back with report of GP.
Get well soon.
Take care
