Posted on Thu, 16 Oct 2014
Question: I have reviewed the articles on constricting lower leg muscles and trying to determine an answer for myself.
I have been suffering from this comolaint for around 10 months , mainly in the right leg and about every three weeks.only ever in bed and breathtaking constriction in the lower leg.It comes as a frightening squeeze, subsides and comes twice more before finishing. I had a total hip replacement last week and last night suffered the constriction in oth legs which was exfremely distressing.I have doubledup onmagnesium and water consumption.
I am willing to try anything. My GP does not have an answer for me.

Hi

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for your query. I can understand your concerns.

If you have pain and constriction of lower leg muscles especially with a history of

total hip replacement then you will need to get a color doppler of your leg vessels as it will tell the reason of your problem.

Please get it done and follow up with me.

Magnesium and water consumption will not help for long.
