Question: My daughter had surgery for carple tunnel and the shots for the pain. now her fingers index and middle finger are curling and she is unable to open them fully the pain is very bad. What happened

The pain and curling of fingers can be due to swelling of the tendon sheath and mild nerve irritation after the surgery. This should gradually subside on its own in few days but if the pain is severe or there s numbness of fingers then do consult her surgeon and get it examined for any vascular compromise.
