What Causes Pain And Numbness In Index Finger?

Question: My index finger (the tip) is numb and is slightly blue. This started this morning. It went away for a few hours and now it's numb again and very slightly blue. Also, my left eye, the inside part is blood shot.

Hi and welcome to HCM.
First if there is progressing pain,numbness and colour changes from red to blue or pale, then you need to see doctor as soon as you can since it may indicate vascular obstruction and may cause ischemic injury of finger. but in mst cases this is just temporary conditon due to acute raynaouds syndrome,arterial embolisation, trauma, thoracic outlet syndrome or carpal tunnel snydrome. I suggest to warm your finger up, keep your arms elevated, take aspirine 100 and see wil there be improvement. if not,you should see immunologist. WIsh you good health.
