What Causes Pain And Pressure In The Bladder Area?
Question: My name is XXXX and i'm a 62 year old male
For the last 3 month i have had bladder pressure on my bladder that felt like a gas pocket.
For what ever reason it comes and goes lasting about a week at a time.
It get so painful you can't sleep. This time it's been 3 day of misery. This gas pain comes every half hour and last about 3 minutes Can you help thanks XXXX

Thanks for your query,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you seem to have Inguinal Hernia with enlarged prostate which is common at this age and needs to be investigated .

1) Do you have obstructive voiding symptoms like increased frequency for urination ,nocturia,poor urine flow etc? suggestive of enlarged prostate
Consult qualified Urologist for clinical and digital rectal examination and get following basic tests done to confirm the diagnosis.
1) Urine routine and culture.
2) Ultrasound scanning of abdomen and pelvis
3) Serum PSA.
Further treatment will depend upon result of these tests and final diagnosis.
