Question: Hello. I have a lot of pain and redness around my anus. There is also broken skin. Please see the attached image. Could you please provide a diagnosis? Thank you.

Multiple tiny translucent painful blisters around the anus could indicate anal herpes infection. Herpes is a viral infection.

Thank you for your reply. I do not have other symptoms associated with your diagnosis. No pain passing urine, no never and no headache. Also my bowel movements are normal.

There is no need to have pain while passing urine and headache when you have anal herpes.
Blisters and pain are enough to think in terms of anal herpes.
