What Causes Pain And Stinging Sensation In The Right Abdominal Area?

Some information and a few questions as well ma'am
Detailed Answer:
Hello ma'am and welcome.
Thank you for writing to us.
I have gone through your query with diligence and would like you to know that I am here to help. Pain that was/is present in the right flank region and also in the right abdominal region can be due to either of the following reasons ma'am:
+Dehydration: Make sure you drink at least 2-3 litres of water a day
+Kidney stones: Also develop due to insufficient fluid intake
+Urinary tract infections: If you have other symptoms like frequent urination, burning sensation while urinating, increased urge to urinate but very little urine passed, etc; we should suspect this
+Rigorous exercise can at times result in such a presentation as well
I see that you are on lasix, and so would like to ask:
+What is your daily fluid intake approximately?
+Are you experiencing dryness of skin?
+Weakness or lethargy?
+Blood tinged urine?
+Burning sensation while urinating?
+How many times do you pass urine in a day?
I look forward to hearing from you ma'am. Please do not hesitate to write to me about anything, I am always here to help.
Best wishes.

Thank you for your answers. I drink at least 52 oz of water a day- most days I will drink 2-52 oz cups of water. I am very dry & find myself scratching all over especially at night time. I have not seen blood in my urine nor pain when urinating. I do get a little tired but that's after working an 8 -10 hour day so I think that's normal. Why would I be numb though? That's what I do not understand. I am scheduled to see my new doctor on XXXXXXX 6th. Do you think I will be okay until then?
Surely a minor issue, nothing serious ma'am
Detailed Answer:
Hello once again ma'am and thank you for your response.
The dryness as suspected could be related to the lasix you have been taking. Your doctor will either have to make a change in its dosage or you have make to increase your fluid intake by a little and also use a good moisturizing lotion on your skin over the dry regions which should cure the itch as well.
As for the numbness, it could be related to a kidney condition, or even localized vascular condition, or just a side effect of one of the medications you are on.
I do not see any serious cause for concern and am sure you will be fine soon. Your doctor will revise your medication and also provide you with a few changes which should help cure the problem.
Do not worry at all ma'am, the issue is minor and should soon subside with a little aid. Please feel free to write to me for anything in the meantime, I am always here to help.
Best wishes.
