Brief Answer:
Does not seem to be a blood clot

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for posting the question.

From the symptoms that you have mentioned,it does not seem to be a blood clot.

I hope you haven't suffered from a trauma recently.

Non-traumatic swelling and pain in knee can occur due to knee effusions ( collection of fluid inside the knee joint. )

Morant-Baker's cyst is the most commonly seen effusion.

Apply compression bandage,take rest.
Avoid squatting, sitting cross legged,or climbing the stairs.

Take anti inflammatory tablets with local application of analgesic gels.

This should provide much relief to you.

If symptoms still persist, then you can get a Xray done.

Feel free to ask me any follow up queries.

I hope this answer was useful.

Thank you.

Kind regards.
