What Causes Pain And Swelling In Left Wrist In A High BP Patient?

Question: Hu doctor, since last friday morning when i woke up my L wrist has been hurting and since friday lunch time my wrist has been a bit swollen. i also have high blood oressure could my wrist some how be connected to that?

The pain and swelling in the wrist is likely to be due to inflammation of the joint or tendons. It can happen due to overuse also. It is not related to high blood pressure. Taking mild pain killers, doing a hot compress and giving rest to the wrist will help.
