Question : 42 year old white non smoking female. Sharp pain around heart but only when i inhale deeply. Shouls i be worried or go to er?

Detailed Answer: Hi, Having pain around heart when deeply inhaling could be related to possible problems related to: - heart - chest - lungs If you also have difficulty in breathing, being lightheaded, have heart palpitations, then, should run to ER. Otherwise, I suggest to schedule an appointment with your physician and to run further tests including: - EKG - cardiac echo - chest X-ray If nothing will be found, then, it might be related to neuromuscular pain and no need to worry.
