Brief Answer:
Could be due to constipation

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXX, if you are experiencing constipation then this pain could be due to constipation. you can take lactulose syrup 3 times daily . make sure you drink plenty of fluids at least 8 cups daily , one of them should be orange juice to avoid recurrence of constipation. you should eat high fiber diet including green vegetables and XXXXXXX if constipation doesn't respond to medication then you need an ultrasound to exclude intestinal obstruction.
other causes of side pain include kidney infection or stones , this will be associated with pain with urination or bloody urine.
other causes also include Inflammatory bowel disease this will be associated with diarrhea and change of stool color. ovarian tumor could also be a cause and should be excluded by abdominal ultrasound. I hope I answered your question.
