What Causes Pain At The Surgical Site After Inguinal Hernia Surgery?

Question: I have asked the same basic question for about a month now-had right inguinal hernia surgery a month ago; I still have pain near the scar area. It is not intense, but it does hurt. My surgeon has assured me that I am progressing normally, but I continue to have my doubts. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated
