What Causes Pain At The Tip Of The Penis While Urinating?
Could be due to stricture of the terminal part of Urethra.
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for your query ,based on the facts and history of previous surgery for PUJ obstruction when you could have been catheterized to drain out your bladder after surgery I think you might have developed stricture (Narrowing) of terminal part of urethra giving rise to these symptoms .
I shall be happy if you can post me few more details to help me in making comments on your problem.
1) have you ever consulted Urologist ?
2) Was endoscopic examination of the urethral passage (Cystoscopy ) done any time in past to establish the diagnosis .?
I shall suggest you to consult qualified Urologist for clinical examination and get following basic tests done to confirm the diagnosis.
1) Urine routine and culture.
2) Ultrasound scanning of abdomen and pelvis
3) Endoscopic Examination of urethra and Bladder (Cystoscopy)
4) Radiological test called Retrograde Cysto Urothrography (RGU)
Further treatment will depend upon result of these tests and final diagnosis.
Hope I have answered your query ,please feel free to ask if you have more questions , I shall be happy to help you .
Thanks and Regards.
