Brief Answer:
Gallstones can be the reason.

Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Thank you for the query.

Such pain can be caused by gallstones, kidney infection or spine issues.
Gallstones pain usually radiates to the back. Nausea and lack of appetite can appear. Pain can be triggered by fatty foods or by body position change.
Kidney infection gives usually also frequent urinating, burning while urinating. The pain radiates to the lower abdomen.

Spine disc issue can cause ribs or below ribs pain which appears after physical activity or long stay in one position.

I suggest you consult your doctor. Abdominal ultrasound and urine analysis should be done at first. If nothing is found, you should consult orthopedist and consider spine MRI.

Hope this will help. Feel free to ask further questions.
Regards.
