
What Causes Pain, Bruising And Swelling In The Temple Region?

Question: This morning I woke up with lots of pain and some bruising on my left temple near eye. There is some swelling and it is increasingly more painful. I didn't hit anything though. What could be the cause and should I be concerned.

Seems to me like insect bite.
Local application of alcohol compresses besides ice and Tylenol should help in reducing swelling and pain.
Ibuprofen could be used in place of Tylenol.
