Question: had straight XXXXXXX 2 week ago after hip replacement in hospital ,had 1st sex stinging during ejaculation this morning had small blood discharge during urination

Thanks for your query,based on the facts that you had been catheterized during surgery of hip replacement you have pain during ejaculation and hematuria ,

This is mostly due to inflammation of Urethra (Urethritis ) resulting from foreign body reaction to catheter

Get your routine urine test and urine culture done to find out the organisms causing this infection and antibiotics to which they are sensitive to.

Please take broad spectrum antibiotics like Cefixime along with urinary antiseptic like Nitrofurantoin and anti inflammatory drug like Diclofenac twice daily and urine alkaliser thrice daily.Later on switch on to appropriate antibiotics as per culture report.

Get the prescription of medicines from your family Physician.

Ensure to drink more water.To keep your urine dilute This will help to control dysuria.

Ensure to avoid sexual encounter till it gets cured completely .
