Brief Answer:
Herpes Genitalis

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to healthcaremagic

I am Dr. Kakkar. I have gone through your query and I have understood it. I have also seen the attached photograph.

This is Herpes genitalis, indeed! Your doctor is right.

Herpes genitalis is an STD caused by either HSV Type 1 or HSV Type 2 virus. It is acquired by sexual contact with an infected partner

In the picture there are well defined multiple erosions on the glans of penis. This is classical of herpes.
Burning micturation is also a symptom of herpes.

I would suggest an oral antiviral e.g Acyclovir 400mg thrice in a day for 7 days.
Topically you may use an OTC antibacterial e.g 2% mupirocin ointment, twice daily.

Regards
