Brief Answer:
Position of man while passing urine has no relevance in young individuals

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for your query ,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you are facing problem in passing urine in sitting position as against normal urine flow while passing in standing position .

Several scientific studies have been conducted on this problem and it has been unanimously found and accepted that passing urine in sitting position is more suitable than in standing position in patients with lower Urinary Tract Symptoms like patients with Enlarged prostate and at old age .However there is no change in Urodynamic parameters in young individuals in either sitting or standing positions.

Problem of difficulty in passing urine in standing position that you have may be due to pressure over sphincter of urethra that causes problem in initiating urination due to tight clothes .

I would suggest you to ware loose innerwares and pants for couple of weeks and observe the change .

As regards burning while passing urine it could be due to UTI .

Get routine urine test done to confirm he same .

Taking antibiotic like Norfloxacin twice daily along with Nitrofurantoin and urine alkaliser for a week will help to resolve the issue of burning urination .

Hope I have answered your query ,please feel free to ask if you have more questions , I shall be happy to help you .
Thanks and Regards.
