What Causes Pain In Abdomen Above The Pelvic Area?
Question: I have been hurting in the abdomen area above the pelvic area i am female age 57 and have had a hysterectomy the ct scan was normal I had polycystic ovaries when i was younger could this pain be a torn muscle or adhesions? If laying flat and i sit up it feels like someone is ripping me and it burns and hurts would appreciate any advise or ideas

Your symptoms are most likely due to adhesions following multiple surgeries.
There are no torn muscles left after six months.
On movement, the adhered bowels stretch and pull back, causing pain.
As your CT is normal, so everything else is ruled out.
And adhesions won't go or improve with any medicine. You need to undergo a diagnostic laproscopy and adhesinolysis for it.
