Then ii started of with pain in the back of my head...like a pulled muscle...then it went to behind my ear....when it was behind my ear it would come and go...when it would come it was a sharp pain. i felt tired at night and had small fever. went to doctor, said ear looked cloudy and was given antibiotic. omoxicylan. after 3 three days it seemed to be better, then it came back...since then i am am sick everyday..the ear pain went away, but i am tired at night, have cold symptom of stuffy nose and now it feels like its in my lounge as i have a slight cough. i finished with the antibiotics yesterday. during day I feel pretty well, but around 8pm i just go down quick and get so sleepy. I do have added stress at work and with relationship. normal i am pretty healthy but since this started a week before i went to the doctor this is like a 14 day illness...any advice would be great.

Brief Answer:
mucolytic with steam inhalation should help

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for the query.

You seem to be having a retained infective focus inthe upper respiratory tract and most likely place can sinuses.

Allergic patients do tend to have infections in the sinuses and can have nasal as well as constitutional symptoms.

Please take a mucolytic along with lots of steam inhalation.

If there is no fever and only body aches, use of steroid intra nasal sprays will also help.

If there is fever, nasal decongestants along with mucolytics and antibiotic should help. You can consult a GP for that.

If the problem persists, please consult an ENT.

Feel free to ask another query.

descriptive

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for the query.

Please go ahead with steam inhalation frequently and mucolytic. Addition of nasal decongestant drops should help clearing sinuses in a better way.

Colour of discharge can be clear in sinus drainage blockade and dirty colour is usually due to supper added infection.

So, at present don't go for antibiotics.
