Question: Hi i am 32 weeks pregnant and i keep having sharp stabbing pains in my cervix, sometimes it is accompanied by menstrual like cramps (but that may be my irritable uterus).. Please help me by telling me what it could be, I'm getting worried.

The pain in the cervix and the uterine cramps at 32 weeks pregnancy are a normal finding. These are XXXXXXX Hick's contractions and usually subside with rest.
In case the pain in the cervix is recurrent and is severe then a direct examination is needed to rule out any cervical lesion like polyp or erosion or an infection in the area.
