Brief Answer:
Gastric reflux or tonsilitis

Detailed Answer:
Hi, thanks for using Healthcaremagic.

I went through your query and understood your concerns.

For my patients with similar complaints first I would like to get complete history and examination of throat and other system.
Based on examination findings I would ask for investigations like blood counts, throat swab, scope to examine esophagus.

Most common cause for these symptoms are tonsillitis and gastric reflux. Do salt warm water gargling and anti- inflammatory medications to reduce pain. Antibiotics in case of bacterial infection.
proton pump inhibitor tablet like pantoprazole 40 mg to reduce acid secretion. avoid spicy food.
If your pain doesn't subside with these simple measures you need to get investigations done.

Hope I answered your query. Feel free to ask further related query.

Regards
