Question: I've got a lot of pain. All the bones in my face, behind my ears. Fingers and toes and nose tingling. Been on an antibiotic for a week. It's just got worse. Back of neck hurting really bad.-

To recapitulate: Female/60 - lot of pains - in bones of face, behind ears - back of neck - tingling of fingers, toes and nose - been on antibiotic for a week - ER Dr gave 20 pain pills - not helpful ...

Please give some additional information for me to assist you better:
- Since when have you been having the symptoms?
- What was the antibiotic prescribed for?

The commonest causes I can think of from the symptoms you have mentioned are:
Deficiency of calcium and Vitamin D.

I would advise you the following:
First of all, send the samples of blood for CBC, calcium, phosphorus, electrolytes,
PTH, Vitamin D.
X-ray of the skull and facial bones.

I hope supplements as per the reports may solve your problems.
Please get the tests done and let me know the reports.
