Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query for your husband.

To recapitulate: Male/49 - over a year - pain in love handles that move around the kidney area - Ultrasound and lab inconclusive 11 months ago - no health insurance - daily attacks now - pale - chills - dizzy - not eating - causes discomfort - unable to sleep - miserable

There is no condition that can cause such a problem with love handles other than fat necrosis, but that would not cause such symptoms.
Hence, as per the history you have provided this looks to be a problem with gastritis / pancreatitis / Kidney problem.

May please know any additional symptoms that he has?
Detailed history in chronology may help me more to assist you better.

Till then you may please give him a PPI like Omeprazole, Domperidone at 8 hourly interval, Antacid get 33 tsf at hourly interval and an antispasmodic whenever there is pain and please give me the feedback.
he certainly may need further evaluation if the condition remains so.

I hope this answer help you.
Please give detailed history/feedback and feel free to ask relevant queries he you feel that there is a gap of communication.

the pain is intense. he recently started on probiotics and just today I bought him Omeprazole to try that. seems to radiatefrom the sides to his back and sometimes moves to his right upper groin area. the dizziness and paleness just started in the last couple of days. he has been googling his symptoms and believes it is kidney related. His hands are swollen as well but that could be from a back/neck injury from years ago.
When he went to er a year ago they told him it could possibly be gall bladder related. We changed his diet but it didn't help.

Brief Answer:
As explained.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your feedback.
The paleness and dizziness can be due to severity of the pain.

History of back/neck injury too can cause such neurological problems.
MRI helps in diagnosis.

Try the medicines and please let me know the results.
