1- which side it is - left or right?
2- are you also having any burning sensation during urination?
3- any recent change in bowel motions?
4- any fever, nausea or vomiting?
5- any previous history of appendicits, kidney stones or hernia?

could be ureteric stone then

In that case, your pain could be due to a left ureteric stone, and for confirmation you need to get an ultrasound of your abdomen to look for it.

Further management will depend upon the exact location, size and number of the stones, if present.

Till that time you may take any painkiller if the pain gets severe.
