Brief Answer:
It can be infection of knee

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have studied your case. . Pain in both knee after seven years is not common. Most common causes are either infection, poor place implant or muscle problem.
Before I advise any further information I would like to know little detail about the illness.
1. Did you had both knee replaced at same time?
2. Are you also having fever or discharge from knee?
3. Do you have pain all the time or only with movements ?
Please send me answers of these questions. I will try my best to help you.
Thanks

Yes I had both knees replaced at the same time. The right one twice as the first time it was to be a partial, but they didn't have all the parts after they opened me up in the OR, so a total replacement was done. Had a lot of pain after and went to another surgeon and was told the wrong size was put in. At that point my left knee had to be done soI had them both done at the same time.

I do not have any discharge or fever. I have pain 24/7. Before I get out of bed I am in pain. They are also painful to the touch, but they are not hot.

Thank you,

Brief Answer:
It can be due to weak bones and muscles

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have studied your case. Your reply is suggesting that there is no infection in knee. If alignment and implant placement is also good than only cause which can cause such symptoms is muscle or nerve weakness. Osteoporosis is also a cause of this.
1. It can be due to weak bones. I would recommend you to take calcium and vitamin D 3 daily.
2.Tablet Pregabalin and Methylcobal daily.
3.Hot water fomentation.
Regular calcium and vitamin supplementation will improve your bone and muscle strength. This will reduce your pain.
I hope this answer will be useful for you. Let me know if there is any other followup questions.
thanks
