Question: I have pain in the left side of my face off and on and some slight swelling where my maxillary sinus is. I also have tooth pain at the same place where the sinus and tooth connect. Sometimes all my teeth hurt on the left side. I have no cold symptoms or stuffy nose but I sneeze a lot and have to blow that side of my nose a lot. Trying to decide if I need antibiotics or A dentist? Or let it go and see if it clears up?
Brief Answer:
It can be an infected back tooth.

Actually tooth that are situated at the back side in the mouth are closely related to sinus. So when there is an infection in the tooth, it goes in the apex of the tooth and through there, it can involve the sinus.
And even the tooth pain is very haphazard in nature, you can not locate the particular tooth, that is why you are feeling pain in all over left side.
Better once you visit a dentist, as he will take an x - ray which will give the exact location of infection either tooth or sinus and start with antibiotics and treatment, which will make you feel better.
Hope it will help you.
Thank you
