Question: I have done ct scan and impressn is reveals fibrotic band in the left lower lobe. Iam haveing pain also in left side of my chest when I move and sneez

I have read your query in detail.
This is Dr.Vivek, Radiologist and I come across CT scan findings as found in you almost everyday. I would like to request you to attach a copy of the report to your query. This will help me to understand the complete findings on CT chest including the fibrotic band in left lower lobe. As such a fibrotic band should not cause pain while moving or sneezing and that pain can have origin in the muscles or cartilages of ribs.

Please also write to me why you got CT scan chest done, symptoms and duration for which you are having them and any past history of lung infections or if you are a smoker and working in dusty environments.
