What Causes Pain In Lower Back While Suffering From Cold?
Brief Answer:
Seems to be cough and cold.
Detailed Answer:
Welcome To HCM. I am Dr Anshul Varshney.
I understand your concern.
This seems to be a cough and cold due to Upper Respiratory tract infection.
Muscles aches are commonly associated with that.
In winters particularly, muscle spasm occurs which causes pain in back.
I advise following in such situations:
1. To do hot fomentation over the back.
2. To apply local pain killer gels containing Diclofenac over the back.
3. To take anti allergic like Levocetrizine.
4. To take Paracetamol for fever and pain.
5. To warm saline gargles.
6. To cover yourself properly to avoid cold exposure.
This should resolve in 3-5 days.
If you have any further query, please ask me.
