Posted on Thu, 15 Oct 2015
Question: What began as a pulled muscle in my lover right back as moved to my lower abdomen n the front fight. When supine or straight, I am ok, but bending over hurts my right front groin area terribly. I am on pain pills and steroids. This has Benin going on for three days. I am in great shape normally - I work out nvluding aerobics and weight lifting. I don't think I have ever had pain like this. Mornings I'll think it's better, and then I try to bend over. ouch !!!! Brief Answer:
tricky

Detailed Answer:
ok... hard to diagnose without being there AND
this is not at all a normal pain pattern. Back is not even close to connected to right groin. Right groin IS connected to a lot of worrisome stuff:
appendix
hernia
most recently, this was funny, construction worker comes in can't get out of car, says he has a hernia in right groin, I say look, I'm not sure about this, but if it doesn't improve you need ER. Son calls says, not improved I implore them to go to ER. He's admitted overnight for an Abcess (I didn't get a look and mis-diagnosed).
BUT.... to them I'm a great doc and a hero. Generally it goes the other way and I do everything great, do housecalls and everyone hates me.

1) cannot diagnose at all well without being there.
2) right groin can be anything
3) but not back.
4) but hernia:
would be right groin
would be new
caused by weight lifting
increased with bending/lifting
pretty much requires surgery
if pain is constant needs surgery IMMEDIATELY
5) cannot say in your case.
