Question: im having muscle pain in a my mid back close to end of my latisimus dorsi towards my spine on the left side. I went to physical therapy and it looks to be muscular. My question is can this ever be caused by something internal? I dont have any tingling and the pain is in a specific spot and does not move.
Brief Answer:
Need information regarding pain.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome to HCM.
Pain over left mid back near the end of latisimus dorsi muscle is likely muscular origin as per your symptoms.
But let me know some more information regarding your pain.
Since how many days you are having this pain?
Is the pain unbearable?
Is pain aggravates due to certain posture?
Is it relieved by taking over the counter pain medications (orally or topically)?
Kindly get back to me with these answers.
Regards,

The pain has been going on for about two months on and off.
the pain is never unbearable. more nagging and tight then severe pain. it comes and goes too.
pain is mostly when i am sitting I think it may have had to do with my sitting posture at work. I have recently purchased a new office chair as i am sitting for 6 to 8 hours a day.
Yes the pain is relieved by over the counter aspirin or ibuprofen.
Pain is more a nagging tightness then a severe shooting pain so I was dealing with it just recently went to physical therapist.
Thanks!
