What Causes Pain In My Left Rib And Excessive Gas While Having Costochondritis?

Question: hello I am hoping u may shed some light on my symptoms I am a 46 yr old women fairly healthy quit smoking last year I seem to have pain in left side of rib I have done cardiac tests 2 last year in sex as well as in feb all ok no blood pressure issues has ultrasound of spleen kidneys liver stomach all normal ... I also suffer from ache in my breasts I do suffer from costochondritis as well as fybromyalgia as well as anxiety the rib pain I notice comes and goes ans I feel gassy at times any suggestions

This is suggestive of possible costochondritis. I strongly believe this is the cause of your pain. To set the record straight, this pain in no way resembles a cardiac-related pain. If you were afraid of your heart is affected, calm down and do not worry any longer.

Most important thing is to address your pain. This requires that the costochondritis and the fibromyalgia be well managed. I strongly recommend that your doctor optimizes your treatment.
