What Causes Pain In Pelvic Area, Left Testicle And Lower Left Abdomen?
yesterday pain in pelvic area , left side with left testicle pain , was constantly paining me with periods of more severity , after a sleep it went away, pain would intensify with touch, today felt same symptoms coming on but it went away and pain started in lower left abdomen , abdomen pain is not as intense as pelvis and testicle ,but enough to be discomforting, i have prostatitis and have had kidneys stones. my left testicle is always retracted back into me , hardly ever hangs in scrotum and is sensitive to touch all the time, with more pain when tube is touched behind testis , the tube is very sore , all on my left side
Looks to be UTI with its multiple complications.

Hi.
Thank for your query.
To recapitulate: Male/46 - pain in pelvis, left testicle retracted and tender, lower abdomen and as explained by your - prostatitis and kidney stones - hot baths help - sleep helps - issue has been with you for a long time ...
Careful evaluation of the history provided by you is indicative of the following inferences:
There looks to be retracted testis on left side with infection or inflammation and may be associated stone in the left side, prostate infection; all look to be due to complications of urinary tract infection.
I would advise the following in such a condition.
- Clinical evaluation, examination including per-rectal digital palpation of the prostate preferably by an Urologist.
- Tests of urine: routine, microscopy, culture and sensitivity.
Tests of blood.
- Ultrasonography with color doppler of the scrotum and whole abdomen particularly for genitourinary system.
- The probable diagnosis will be evident to plan the proper treatment to give you the relief.
- Medicines as per the reports and the clinical acumen, experience and reports.
- Surgical intervention if indicated by clinical evaluation and tests.
All parts of the diagnosis should be done and treated together to get you the relief.
I hope this answer helps you to get an early and correct diagnosis and a proper plan of management. Please feel free to ask for further relevant queries if you feel that there is a gap of communication.
the complications are they caused by uti or is there indication of other issues that is causing my symptoms, would i be getting lower back pain as well. will the uti go away by itself or it doesn't do that? is medication only way to get rid of it , and what are the severs complications , that is possible, so kidney stones and prostatitis is all caused from uti , there was mention of bladder walls being thickening as well i think?
also why wouldn't my partner show signs of uti
As explained below.

To answer your further queries:
It is difficult to say where did the infection start. It would have started due to stones, or from prostate and then spread all over.
Yes, you can get lower back pain due to these.
UTI does not go by itself, you need proper evaluation, tests and management as we discussed above.
Medications are a must and may need surgery say for stone removal or so once the infection is settled.
Severe complications can be Septicemia, abscess formation, renal failure and so on.
Bladder wall thickening can be due to infection and/or obstruction to the urinary outflow.
Your partner may not show signs of UTI either due to not infected or may be asymptomatic UTI Needs basic tests to be done.
