The pain has been there off and on for about 6 months. The last week it has gotten much worse. There is light bleeding part of the time but not a lot. The answers to the other questions is no.
Brief Answer:
Detail Follows.
Detailed Answer:
Dear Friend.
In such scenario we advice to rule out piles/ hemorrhoids.
If they are not seen on local examination or proctoscopy, we recommend colonoscopy to rule out Inflammatory bowel disease like ulcerative colitis and crohn's disease.
This is important because you also had bleeding in stools. Even slight bleeding should be taken seriously.
So first of all get a local examination done. If that is normal go for following investigations:
1. Colonoscopy
2. Hemogram with ESR
3. C reactive protein
4. Eye examination for uvietis.
If you have any constipation you can take laxative like Lactulose.
If you have any further query please ask me.
Stay Healthy.
