default
Posted on Wed, 4 Mar 2015
Question: having trouble with my right arm for a couple months now - pain shooting down from shoulder (sporadically) but definitely when I put my seatbelt on, take a shirt off over my head, or sleep on that side with arm outstretched. I stretch, use a roller, etc but it has not gone away. Have I torn something? Chiropractor said he did not believe it was rotater cuff

Brief Answer:
You need to get a MRI

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I haves studied your case and I think that you might have rotator cuff tear or frozen shoulder. In this condition there is pain in shoulder with limitation of movements. Pain is typically more in night time. Pain is so bad that patient can not sleep on that side.
It is common in diabetics or thyroid patients. To confirm the diagnosis I would like to suggest you MRI of the shoulder. This test will tell us if there is any fluid collection in the joint or any cuff tear According to that we can plan further management.
I am waiting for your MRI report.
Thanks
