Seems to bee better if I wear compression shorts. age 65 have had an angiogram that they used a plastic twist on to close and have had pain in groin off and on since 2009. Any suggestions ?

Brief Answer:
Could be due to mild Varicocele.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for your query, based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have noticed your Rt testicles to be placed higher than left one .

It is not uncommon to have one testicle positioned higher than its counterpart and has no significance at all.

The pain that you have could be due to mild varicocele and needs to be confirmed by clinical examination by a qualified General Surgeon or Urologist and following basic test
1) Ultrasound scanning of Scrotum
2) Colour Doppler study of scrotum.

Please consult Urologist and get these tests done to confirm the diagnosis.

In the mean while continue using scrotal support. This will help to reduce the traction of the testicles and there by help to relieve pain.

The pain that you have in groin is not related to your Angiogram done 5 years back.

Hope I have answered your query ,please feel free to ask if you have more questions ,
I shall be happy to help you
Thanks and Regards.
