What Causes Pain In The Abdomen And Lower Back With Vomiting After Eating?

Clinical evaluation, investigations for proper treatment
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
noted all the history well and understood your concerns.
Severe pain in abdomen below breast line, severe lower back pain, throwing up - started short time after dinner - could not get to sleep - lessened some with heating pad - took XXXXXXX Seltzer - taste changed - wants to know what this would be...
My thoughts:
Vomiting might have been due to a reflex mechanism secondary to pain of any sort.
Pain at the two sites you mentioned look to unrelated directly.
Pain below the breast line could have been due to costochondritis if on the rib cage and if within the upper abdomen then needs clinical evaluation, examination and investigations like Ultrasonography and blood tests to know the exact cause.
The severe pain in the lower back could have been due to muscle spasm.
If the pain is still there, get clinical evaluation, examination and investigations to know the cause so that an appropriate management can be done at the earliest.
I hope this answer helps you in decision making to get an early and most proper diagnosis and most proper management.
Please feel free to provide additional history if any, give the feedback and ask for further relevant queries if you feel that there is a gap of communication.

as explained in details.
Detailed Answer:
The lowest ribs on are floating ribs and connected with each other with cartilages.
When there is an inflammation of this part of ribs, it is called costochondritis.
Food poisoning would have also caused loose motion, continuous vomiting, bloating, pain all over abdomen, dehydration and constitutional symptoms of dehydration, fever, malaise and so on.
If you have combination of any of these symptoms, then only food poisoning may be considered.
