What Causes Pain In The Area Of Liver And Gall Bladder?
liver or gallbladder pain
Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for your question.
The area of the pain that you are describing is in the area of your liver and gallbladder. Pain there can be from a variety of causes including hepatitis, cirrhosis and gallstones. It is good that you are trying to quit alcohol. You need to see a doctor and get an ultrasound of your right upper abdomen to assist in determining the cause.
It seems that you are in the US so if you are not employed it may be possible for you to get insurance through the affordable care act or to get onto Medicaid if you are disabled. It certainly sounds like you need some form of insurance to help deal with your multiple medical problems.
I wish you the best in your recover,

Thank you for your prompt reply. Unfortunately "ACA/Obamacare" has been of no help to me at all, and XXXXXXX was not a state that expanded medicaid. I knew of those 2 being in that area, but I will state that the pain comes and goes. It is not constant. To add to everything, I smoke roughly 3-4 cigarettes a day. Which isn't a lot, but I know those can add to problems. I'm basically disabled from everything, but the process in this state (and todays world in general) is tough. People look at me outwardly and don't think I'm sick, but don't know all of what I have wrong. Can you suggest any vitamins, etc, to take that I may have depleted heavily from the drinking + lack of colon since the age of 12? As of now I'm doing well weaning down on the alcohol.
Sincerely, XXXXXXX
yes, vitamins

I am sorry that you are having so much difficulty.
It would be good for you to take a multivitamin/multimineral supplement dailly .In addition a B50 twice a day would be a good idea. B50 is a mix of B vitamins all at 50 mgc dose. These are often depleted in long term alcohol use. I am glad you are doing well tapering off the alcohol.
I wish you health

Thank you again for your prompt reply. I do have a multivitamin with some minerals, my stomach doesn't handle magnesium well so I've bought some spray magnesium oil. I've never heard of the B50 so I will look, most of the B's I've taken have been far too strong and kept me wired all day and I haven't been able to sleep, but 50mcg sounds like a nice even dose overall. Is there any way I can make sure to get you if I have future inquiries, without having to constantly reply here?
Bless you, XXXXXXX
you are welcome
Detailed Answer:
Whenever you send in a question you can ask them to direct it to Dr. Kathy Robinson and they will post it to me. If you've had problems with B vitamins in the past keeping you up you may want to only take the B50 in the mornings.
I hope that you are feeling better very soon
Dr. Robinson
the previous b12 in the sublingual complex i was taking was 25,000mcg. so, that would explain a lot of things. the other b's were low in content.
XXXXXXX
yes, that is a lot
Detailed Answer:
That is a lot of vitamin B12. You should have no problems with the B50s.
Best wishes to you
